Hi, 1. Do you use the same Product key on the new iMac? 2. Did you purchase a Windows 8 Upgrade key or a Windows 8 Full version? If you are no more using the Windows 8.1 on the previous Mac, then you have to install Windows 7 and then upgrade to 8. Yeah, we should call that Microsoft BS 'logic'. You purchase laptop, tablet or what ever, with Windows 8, than Microsoft almost force you to upgrade to Windows 8.1, than you upgrade to Windows 8.1, and after that, if something go wrong, you should start from the factory OS, than upgrade billions of the updates for Windows 8, billions of factory updates and finaly upgrade for Windows 8.1, than finaly install factory updates for Windows 8.1. In mean time, something will go wrong, so you should to that all over again. Than you come here and ask for some better way than 72 hours update procedure, and than Microsoft support dude ask you billion unimportant questions like 'answer' on your simple question, just to **** you more? With every day I am more and more sick and tired of Microsoft, Microsoft 'support' dudes, and Microsoft BS socalled operating systems, updates, upgrades and etc. How you dudes menaged all those 'upgrades', I start to like alternative OS and with every day, I am closer and closer to scrap totaly Windows and Microsoft. Microsoft is ill company, and if something don't change very fast, it will fail totaly, because with all those Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 'upgrades', this is actualy fraud, people buying DVD for those 'upgrades' and they get **** from it. I hope you guys understand how you pissed all your clients, I mean really pissed them, after you robbed them, when you sold for big money all those socalled 'upgrades'.
